Orders shipped to the following states require can deposits, which will be added to the purchase price: CA 4¢ per can; OR, NY, IA, CT, MA, VT, ME 5¢ per can; MI 10¢ per can (except that non-carbonated Tea-Berry Typhoon is subject to deposit only in CA and ME). Empty cans may be redeemed at local redemption centers in each state, except in OR, where consumers should follow the special instructions on the packaging label for returning empty cans, and in MI, where all orders for XS Energy Drinks must be picked up, and empty cans may be redeemed only at the Spaulding Service Center in Ada. Cans will NOT be accepted by mail. *How do we calculate net available carbs? We focus on those carbs that significantly increase blood sugar and subtract those that minimally increase it (like glycerin, maltitol, and fiber). For example, on a label that listed 23 grams of total carbohydrates, we'd subtract 11 grams of glycerin, 8 grams of maltitol, and 1 gram of dietary fiber, leaving 3 grams of net available carbs.
